TV Shows filmed at Kanuka

We've had four TV shows hunt with us in recent years. Two of the shows were from the US, one was from Canada but it also screens in the US, and one show from New Zealand screens only here.

All of the shows captured exceptionally good red stag footage.

This show is a relatively new one but has arrived with a great presence. Ed and Bob enjoyed some great rut hunting for red stag etc., plus they got footage of other hunters in camp. Don’t miss this!

This show has been running for five years. The irrepressible Bub and his buddy Paul killed some great red stags during the rut plus other species.

Cameraman Keith Foster did a great job keeping up with all the action. Don’t miss this!

Outdoor Quest TV Series

Husband and wife, Rich and Sandi have been running their show for five years. They came complete with Argo for cross country mobility and TC Muzzle loader for which Rich is a real enthusiast.

We took Rich and Sandi to the Southern Alps for tahr hunting followed by a South Island tour, then took them red stag hunting at Kanuka Wilderness. Top marks to Sandi for camping with the men in small mountain huts. She was there to hunt! Don’t miss this show.

Ken’s Hunting and Fishing Show

This is a New Zealand show, not screened in the US.

Ken and Lady Hunter, Emma Lange, hunt and fish their way throughout New Zealand on guided adventures. Davey Hughes of Swazi Apparel also features in the Kanuka Wilderness hunt.

This show combined the usual Topp Twins comedy with the best of hunting and fishing.
