I stayed two weeks, met the locals, saw some of
New Zealand, hunted the red stags and
other species and scored a magnificent gold medal red stag.
The scenery was breath taking, the hospitality was unmatched,
and the quarry was challenging and exciting. Every true hunter,
once in his
life should be so fortunate to hunt the Red Stag in the rut.
A true adventure of a lifetime that I could not get enough
of.
I enjoyed my hunt so much that I plan to return annually to
hunt at Kanuka.
